Eugene Sogbe is a transport and mobility researcher specialising in public transport systems and urban mobility. He is currently completing his PhD in Transport Engineering. His research examines public transport, travel behaviour, and road safety within the broader context of transport planning and policy, with a particular focus on user experience across the transport journey. His work also explores emerging mobility systems, including Mobility-as-a-Service and ongoing research on autonomous transport.
Eugene has four years of teaching experience as a Coursework Instructor at Ho Technical University in Ghana and over four years of professional experience as a Supervising Engineer at DESK-Air Engineering Consult, where he contributed to delivering engineering solutions across a range of projects.
Eugene is committed to advancing research and practice in sustainable, safe, and user-centred transport systems through policy-relevant and interdisciplinary approaches.
