Fuad Yasin Huda is a PhD researcher at the Public Transport Research Group. He is currently working on a PhD about understanding the long-term transport benefits of autonomous vehicles. Earlier, Fuad completed his MSc in Transport Planning from the Institute for Transport
Studies at the University of Leeds, UK and his BSc in Civil Engineering from the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST), Bangladesh.

Fuad has more than seven years experience in academia. He served as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Civil Engineering of East West University, Bangladesh for four years and as a Lecturer at the Department of Civil Engineering of MIST, Bangladesh for more than three years. He also worked as a professional Transport Consultant in the UK for almost two years, where he worked with several government councils and private sectors.

Fuad is an enthusiastic researcher with good communication, organisational and problem-solving skills. His research interest lies in the broader sector of transport planning, sustainable transport and travel behaviour. In his leisure time, Fuad loves reading novels, playing badminton and cricket, and enjoys natural serenity.
