Pursuing his strong research interests in Public Transport Planning and Management, Ha Anh has worked as a Lecturer at Faculty of Transport – Economics, University of Transport and Communications (Ha Noi, Vietnam) since the late 2011 before having a 2-year study in Master of Urban and Regional Planning at The University of South Australia (Adelaide) thanks to the international fully-funded scholarship from the Australian Government.

Ha Anh is currently undertaking his PhD study in bus safety practices: Understanding the relationship between asset ownership and safety as part of the Injury Prevention – Graduate Research Industry Program (IP – GRIP) with the sponsor of Bus Association Victoria (Bus Vic).
