Laura Aston has won the Institution of Transportation Engineers Best Student Research Prize for Australia and New Zealand. Laura undertook a final year project with Professor Currie and Katerina Pavkova and worked as part of the Public Transport Research Group on a project exploring ‘modal bias in the transit-orientation of urban development’. The work was presented at the 2016 TRB conference in Washington DC. Laura is now a Consultant in Climate Change and Sustainability at Ernst & Young. Many Congratulations Laura.
