Congratulations to Amy Killen and Jianrong Qiu who were finalists in the Monash University 3 Minute Thesis Competition. The 3 Minute Thesis Competition is held annually at every Australian university where graduate research students have the opportunity to present their research in only 3 minutes.
Amy and Jianrong are currently undertaking their PhDs as part of the Sustainable and Effective Public Transport – Graduate Research Industry Partnership.
Amy’s research, supervised by Dr Selby Coxon, is focused on Designing the Urban Rail Environment to Reduce Vandalism and its Impacts on Service Reliability and Customer Experience.
Jianrong’s research, supervised by Dr David Logan, is focused on Exploring the Road Safety Impacts of Bus Safety Inspections.
